Brothers follows a reformed criminal who is trying desperately to stay that when. He finds his plans turned upside down when he reunites with his unpredictable twin brother for one last heist. What comes next is a chaotic cross-country adventure filled with shootouts and family tension.
Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin star in the film, playing the twin brothers. Both Dinklage and Brolin have extensive acting careers, and this is not the first film they have been in together. The two were in the MCU's Avengers: Infinity War with Brolin portraying Thanos, and Dinklage playing Eitri. Brothers comes to select theaters on October 10 and starts streaming on Prime Video on October 17.

Screen Rant interviewed Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage about their new comedy heist film, Brothers, in which they play twins. Brothers Has Something Of A Cannonball Run Vibe
"It took ten interviews to find that, and you found it. Kudos, man. Because that's what it is. It's The Cannonball Run."

Screen Rant: How much fun was it getting to play around with each other in Brothers?
Peter Dinklage: We loved playing with each other. It was great. I loved playing my Josh instrument. It's like, when you watch The Cannonball Run, you just go, "They were having a good time."
Josh Brolin: It took ten interviews to find that, and you found it. Kudos, man. Because that's what it is. It's The Cannonball Run. We've been talking about Midnight Run. We've been talking about 48 Hours, on the serious side, but The Cannonball Run is it. Or Smokey and the Bandit kind of vibe.
Peter Dinklage: Every Which Way But Loose, which also has an orangutan.
Screen Rant: What were you acting against for that scene? Because it wasn't a real orangutan.
Peter Dinklage: An actress named Devin Dalton. She's done this stop-motion stuff before in the Planet of the Apes films. And beyond that, she's in the Andy Serkis school of doing that stuff.
Josh Brolin: She was amazing. We had an intimacy coordinator because of that. I think much more for me than for her.
Josh Brolin Was Uncomfortable During The Karaoke Scene
"That's why that scene was played like it was, where I was playing uncomfortable because I was actually uncomfortable."

Screen Rant: There is a great karaoke scene in Brothers. Do you have a go-to karaoke song?
Josh Brolin: I'm so bad at answering this question. I was super uncomfortable during that scene. Peter had great confidence during that scene. He is a karaoke master. That's why that scene was played like it was, where I was playing uncomfortable, because I was actually uncomfortable. Glenn was great, too.
Peter Dinklage: Glenn Close. She does Broadway musicals. She was blowing everybody away. Love My Way by The Psychedelic Furs is mine. I actually did it in the movie, but it was cut from that scene because that bar karaoke scene could have gone on for days. So we had to make some cuts.
Josh Brolin & Peter Dinklage Had A Blast Filming Brothers
"If you want to see a movie with us goofing, with some top actors, watch our movie."

Screen Rant: Can you talk about filming the golf cart chase?
Peter Dinklage: Well, that was Macon Blair, our incredible, brilliant screenwriter. Why are there always car chases in every movie? Even though they don't even need them? There was a trend in movies we were growing up with in the 80s and 90s, where you had to have a car chase because it was so cool. In French Connection and Bullet. Even in a comedy, there would be a car chase. So Macon thought, let's have a car chase, but have it be a tractor and a golf cart, which is not a very fast car chase. But the stakes are even higher.
Josh Brolin: And the top speed was maybe 26.
Peter Dinklage: Yeah, you could run faster.
Josh Brolin: If you want to see a movie with us goofing, with some top actors, watch our movie.
Screen Rant: What would you say to people to get them to watch Brothers?
Josh Brolin: We would say Glenn Close. Brendan Fraser.
Peter Dinklage: Brolin. Tighty whities.
Josh Brolin: Dinklage. Handlebar mustache.
Peter Dinklage: That's it. What else do we need to prove ourselves anymore? Haven't we given enough of ourselves to society? You know what I mean? If you want to see it, fine. If you don't, that's fine too.
Josh Brolin: Either way. We still had fun.
Peter Dinklage Shaved His Mustache For Flashback Scenes
"I shaved it on the last day because we had to do the flashback scene and Josh, after I shaved it, didn't like me anymore."

Screen Rant: How long did you keep that mustache for, Peter? I assume it was yours?
Peter Dinklage: It was wild. I borrowed it from the prop department. I borrowed it from Glenn Close. That's how much fun we had. We can say that because we know how Glenn would laugh. No, it was my mustache. Thank you very much. I shaved it on the last day because we had to do the flashback scene and Josh, after I shaved it, didn't like me anymore.
Josh Brolin: No, that's not true.
Peter Dinklage: He didn't behave the same way.
Josh Brolin: No, I didn't know how to deal with you. You just didn't look like Jady anymore.
Peter Dinklage: Because he suddenly saw how luscious my lips were, and he was confused by how attracted he was to me. It threw him all off.
